TRENCH™ CHALLENGE is the premiere obstacle course race in the western pacific region and the only qualifier to the OCR World Championships (Elite Division only). A long and short course is sprawled over the 250 acre property of the Guam International Raceway, offering variations in elevation and scenery changes from desert style terrain, mud pits, motocross dirt track and single canopy rainforest along cliff lines with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. With over 24 combinations of manmade and natural obstacles and an average temperature of 81 degrees fahrenheit and relative humidity varying between 60-94%, the climate alone can pose an obstacle for even the fittest athletes.

TRENCH™ CHALLENGE to date has raised over $20,000.00 for Special Olympics Guam, Guam Cancer Care, The Make A Wish Foundation, and other organizations.

TRENCH™ CHALLENGE is the official qualifier for the 2021 OCRWC. We will be representing the island among 68 countries against the best in the sport of OCR in Stratton Vermont.
TRENCH™ CHALLENGE 2021 is scheduled to take place Saturday August 14 and Sunday August 15 at the Guam International Raceway.

Eligible 2020 Race registrants, your deferral invitation to participate in this race has been emailed to you on July 14, 2021. Please redeem this invitation at your earliest convenience. You must show up 60-45 minutes prior to your wave start time. If you miss your wave, you will be placed in the next available wave (except the timed races) so don't be late.

Must be at least 12yrs of age to enter the Recreational Division, 13yrs to compete in the Elite Division.

TRENCH™ CHALLENGE registrations are NON-REFUNDABLE. But transferrable.

You may transfer your registration to another participant no later than August 10, 2021 at 5pm.

Packet pickup is on Thursday, August 12th and Friday, August 13th at the Race Venue 10am - 7pm.

You must have a photo ID to check in and receive your bib.

Spectators are allowed at TRENCH™ CHALLENGE but must follow current social distancing rules.

Spectators are NOT allowed in the course unless they have signed the waiver and have been given a wristband.

Videographers and Photographers will need to sign in for a press pass and fill out a waiver form to get on course.

TRENCH™ CHALLENGE is a rain or shine event.

WHEN AND WHERE IS IT?
It all happens Saturday, August 14th and Sunday, August 15th at the Guam International Raceway on Rt. 15 Yigo.

HOW MANY OBSTACLES ARE THERE?
There will be approximately 20 obstacles.
IS THIS A TIMED RACE?
Only the Elite , 3 PersonTeam Challenge Divisions on Saturday and the Uproar Triple Threat Fitness competition on Sunday. The Recreational Division wave start times are not timed and participants are not required to complete every obstacle.

DO WE HAVE TO COMLETE EVERY OBSTACLE?
Runners in the Recreational Division wave starts may skip any obstacle along the course, without penalty. Since these waves are untimed, take your time to complete the obstacles. Competitive divisions must follow the race rules.

I WANT TO RUN WITH MY FRIENDS.
You are encouraged to put together a team and take on the course together. Teamwork and camaraderie will get you thru the course. - Start together and Finish strong together!
CAN I RUN WITHOUT A TEAM?
YES, you can join the Recreational Division solo or you should join the Elite Division to be eligible for a trophy for Top 3 Males & Females and an opportunity to qualify for the OCR World Championships in September.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED ON A TEAM?
In the Recreational Division, each team can have as little as 1 or up to 50 members.
If your team would like to compete with time, join the Team Challenge Division of 3 members. Have more than 3 people? Create another 3 person team and start together.
IS THE REGISTRATION PRICE BY TEAM?
No. The registration price is per individual.
CAN I REGISTER MY TEAMMATES?
Yes you can. You can also create a team on or registration site and give your team mates the access code to register on your team.

IF I REGISTER THEN LATER DECIDE TO CANCEL FOR ANY REASON, CAN I GET A REFUND OR TRANSFER MY ENTRY TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Sorry, we do not offer refunds BUT you can transfer your entry to someone else if you notify us before the August 10th deadline. If you miss the deadline, we're sorry.

CAN I HANG OUT AFTER IM DONE RACING / RUNNING?
It will depend on current government restrictions on social interaction. As of July 1st we are not setting up a finishers festival and will be a race and leave format.
