VOLUNTEER AT TRENCH CHALLENGE
Volunteers will help with course set up, hand out water to participants, help give directions on the course, some will also help reward finishers with their finisher medals, shirt, and giveaway bag.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU
Any volunteers between the ages of 14-16 must be either accompanied by a parent/guardian or must be part of a group with a chaperone/supervisor who is over the age of eighteen (18). During their shift, Volunteers will devote their full attention and energy to TRENCH CHALLENGE and will not engage in any other activity. TRENCH CHALLENGE is an extreme event and can be an intense work environment. Volunteers will assist TRENCH CHALLENGE staff with providing a safe and enjoyable event for all participants and spectators. Volunteer duties may include working event registration, answering participant questions, assisting with packet pickup and gear check, selling merchandise, handing out water on the course, obstacle spotting, or additional duties requested by TRENCHCHALLENGE staff.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Volunteers must check in with a TRENCH CHALLENGE representative at the beginning of their assigned shift, remain on site and work at the Event during the shift, and check out with a TRENCH CHALLENGE representative at the end of the shift.
All Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver prior to commencing work at the event.
This is a rain or shine event. By signing the agreement, volunteers are expected to attend the event. By volunteering, each person understands and acknowledges that TRENCH CHALLENGE is an extreme event and accepts all risks associated with volunteering at the event.
FOR REGISTERED TRENCH™ CHALLENGE PARTICIPANTS INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING
If you are interested in receiving a discount off the full cost of your registration in exchange for volunteering at the event, please follow the steps below:
-You must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than July 1, 2017.
-You must volunteer for the morning shift and run in the afternoon.
-You must check in and out at the Volunteer Tent with a TRENCH CHALLENGE staff member to document your shift.
-You cannot be counted as a part of any other volunteer group, only as an individual. You cannot receive both selected non-profit monetary donation and a discounted registration.
-When participating in the event, you must change out of your volunteer shirt.
